There’s the usual episode filler of the kids trying to get their dad to see reason and pull the ‘what would mum want’ card, but Ben gets his way and Danny leaves. Once calm, Ben is told how he’s basically been absent for over a year now and the only reason the kids are alive, particularly Eden, is because of Danny’s selflessness.īen appreciates this, but insists he’s fine now and Danny to leave. One day, Ben registers Danny’s presence, which will be enough to trigger him into a catatonic-breaking fit of rage - cliche from Ben, but it’s kind of a thing at this point.Īnyways, Cal and Olive eventually calm him down, while Danny soothes Eden (of course she was found and Angelina annihilated) who has no idea what’s going on. Being the Guy he is, of course he comes to take over planning the funeral, take over managing affairs and being the family’s “grief doula”.
While Ben basically gets sidelined for a while to continue decomposing, Olive reaches out to Danny to fill him in.
